Large 2.5" Tyrannosaurus Rex T-Rex Tooth Shard w/Wear Specimen Hell Creek, MT
This is a large tooth shard (broken piece of tooth) that was still being used before it fell from the mouth of the infamous Tyrannosaurus Rex, collected from the Cretaceous-aged Hell Creek Formation in Montana, making it approximately 70 million years old. You can see by the wear, that even after shearing, the tooth continued to be used for some time to re-polish like it did on the one side. The other side is still fractured and splintered.
