The Stegosaurus was a large, plant-eating dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period. It is easily known by the two rows of big upright plates on its back and the sharp spikes on its tail used for protection. Camarasaurus was a large, plant-eating sauropod dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Jurassic period, roughly 155 to 143 million years ago. Its name means "chambered lizard," referring to the hollow, air-filled chambers in its backbone that helped lighten its massive frame.
